The AM1000 was originally designed as an inverter testing system by one of the world’s leading manufacturers of power conversion systems.
We took the design and built an advanced application specific test and reporting environment. The software allows for Bi-Directional real and reactive 4 quadrant operation. Advanced test sequences like frequency oscillations, voltage range simulation, and reactive power injection can all be achieved while also circulating real power. Optional Bender, HIOKI, SEL, and other metering test equipment can be installed and integrated into the open source PLC code which connects via OPC UA, modbus, CAN, profinet, and many other protocols.
